LDH/OPH/Bureau of Community Preparedness-Louisiana Volunteers in Action is hosting a virtual Volunteer Summit to strengthen coordination, readiness, and collaboration among partner agencies, regional staff, and organizations trained in emergency preparedness.
The purpose of the summit is to share best practices, align response strategies, and provide updates on policies, tools, and resources that support effective volunteer engagement during disasters.
By bringing stakeholders together in a virtual setting, the summit also aims to build relationships, enhance communication across regions, and ensure all participants are equipped to respond efficiently and cohesively in times of crisis.
