What We Do
Strengthening Our Community's Emergency Response
Within the NOLA Ready Volunteer Corps is the New Orleans Medical Reserve Corps (NOMRC), a medical and public health volunteer organization. The mission of NOMRC is to be a diverse group of committed volunteers with skills and expertise to supplement public health emergency preparedness and response in New Orleans. Volunteers receive training in First Aid/CPR, Psychological First Aid, vaccination outreach, meeting the needs of medically vulnerable populations, and more.
