The New Orleans Department of Health & Human Services is a proud partner of the Gulf South VECTOR project, which aims to prevent and control vector-borne diseases through research, outreach, and strategic partnerships. We provide tools and knowledge to help communities reduce the impact of mosquitoes and other disease-carrying vectors.
This pilot of the West Nile Virus clinical provider training will engage volunteers in working out the common questions and ensure that discussion-based activities run smoothly before providing widely in the New Orleans and Gulf South communities.
