All volunteers who support Mardi Gras First Aid Station operations are required to have an active Basic Life Support CPR certification (or higher) (not expiring before March 1, 2026). The New Orleans Health Department, along with New Orleans Emergency Medical Services, are able to offer a limited number of no-cost classes for volunteers.
